WireSpring Tech joins retail alliance



WireSpring Technologies, a developer of software and technology for interactive kiosks and digital signage systems, announced today that is to join the Retail Broadband Alliance, a forum that makes it easy for retailers migrating to broadband networks to increase revenue, cut expenses, and improve the customer experience.

The Retail Broadband Alliance aims to brings together companies that represent products and services used in the entire retail sales supply chain for data networks. The forum now includes more than 30 companies and retail merchants pick and choose the providers they want.

Charter member companies include credit card payment processors; processing gateways; hardware, software, and applications providers; as well as communications consultants and service integrators.

For WireSpring, who aim to help retailers and brands reach customers at the point of decision, where an estimated 70 percent of purchasing decisions are made, their involvement in the Retail Broadband Alliance is of particular significance.

WireSpring's solutions fall into two categories: dynamic POP displays and in-store TV networks, which deliver targeted advertising and informational content on the sales floor and self- service kiosks which streamline sales processes by providing consumers with on-demand access to the services they need.

New Edge Networks, who are behind the Retail Broadband Alliance, are reportedly just as pleased to welcome WireSpring into their growing community.
